I Made a K-pop Dance App: Meet KPop Mirror

Guess what? I made an app! It's called **KPop Mirror: Learn K-pop Dance**, and I am SO excited to finally share it with you.

Why I made it

I love K-pop and I dance all the time. I learn most of my dances from the idols' dance practice videos, but there was always one problem: the dancers face you, so their right is my left. I kept turning the wrong way! In a real dance studio, you practice in front of a mirror, so I wanted an app that works just like that.

I also wanted to slow down the hard parts and practice them again and again without scrolling back every time. So we made KPop Mirror, and now I use it for my own practice every day.

What it does

• Pick a song and learn the full dance or just the main (chorus) dance from the idols' official dance practice videos.
• Mirror flips the video like a studio mirror, so the moves face the same way you do.
• Slower/Faster lets you slow the dance way down while you learn, then speed it back up.
• Repeat loops the part you keep messing up until you nail it.
• Your camera shows up right next to the dancers, so you can see if you match.

How to use it

• Go to kpopmirror.com on your phone, tablet or computer.
• Pick a song you love and choose the full dance or the chorus.
• Turn on Mirror and slow it down to learn the first few moves.
• Use Repeat on the tricky part, then turn on your camera and dance next to the idols.
• When you've got it, speed it back up and perform it for your family!
