Rise & Shine: My Morning Affirmations

Every morning before school, rehearsal, or an audition, I stand in front of my mirror and say my affirmations out loud. They help me start the day feeling brave, happy, and ready to shine. I want to share them with you — especially any kid who has a big dream like mine.
My Morning Affirmations
- I am talented, and I get better every single day.
- I am brave enough to walk into any audition room.
- My voice matters, on camera and off.
- I bring joy to every set I step on.
- I am kind to my castmates and my crew.
- Mistakes help me learn — they don't stop me.
- I sing, I dance, and I move with confidence.
- I am proud of every role, big or small.
- I am grateful for my family, who believes in me.
- My dreams are big, and I am ready for them.
My Big Dream
One of my biggest dreams is to act in a Tyler Perry movie. I love stories about family, faith, laughter, and people who never give up — and those are the kinds of stories I want to help tell. Playing Rita in The Therapist showed me how much I love bringing a character to life, and I can't wait for the next one.
To the Caring Directors Out There
Thank you to every director who makes kids feel safe, heard, and encouraged on set. When a director is patient and kind, it helps young actors like me do our very best work. I'm always excited to learn from directors who believe in us.
